Q. What materials are custom student/faculty parking permits made of?

We offer a variety of custom student/faculty parking permits/tags in multiple material choices to suit different preferences and pockets. HeftTag is our most economical offering made using 55 mil HDPE thick plastic and digitally printed with a clear protective coating. Another economical option is ValueTag. These tags are made of 15 mil thick plastic, are waterproof, rip-proof, and easy to clean.

ToughTag permits are our heavy-duty variants that feature embedded print on 30 mil thick plastic. These reusable tags have a high-gloss finish and are also available in a reflective format. We also offer temporary tags made of 12 pt tagboard. Printed in low minimums, these are perfect for replacement permits or small events.

Q. Is it possible to add numbers on a custom student or custom faculty parking permit?

A.

Yes, it is and at no additional charges! Our easy-to-follow customization wizard includes an option for you to add numbers to your custom student and/or custom faculty parking permits. You may specify the starting number for your series and the number of digits desired. You may even add prefixes and suffixes by clicking on the ‘Advanced’ button visible in the Numbering section on the customization page. Further, we have also built a feature to select the color scheme for your numbering.

Q. Are custom student parking permits single-side or double-side printed?

A.

Our custom student parking permits can be single-sided, or double-sided printed depending on your choice. The option is available on the second page of the customization process, and you can enter your text to be printed at the back of the tag and select the font and the color scheme for back printing.

Q. How many custom faculty parking permits come in a pack?

A.

Our custom faculty parking permits come in packs of 10. The pack size is the same for all our variants: economic, heavy-duty, reflective, and temporary tags.

Q. Is there a minimum order quantity for custom student parking permits?

Yes, there is. The minimum order quantity for our economy HeftTag and ValueTag permits, as well as heavy-duty and reflective ToughTag permits is 5 packs. Should you wish to go for Tagboard permits, you will have to order at least 2 packs.

Q. Can I change the colors on my custom student parking permit?

A.

Absolutely! The colors can be changed/modified for almost all parts of a custom student parking permit. This includes headers, image, text, numbering, and back printing. The options are visible in each section, along with thumbnail illustrations to help you understand what the colors will look like.

Q. What kind of text can be added to a custom faculty/student parking permit?

A.

Our custom faculty/student parking permit templates give you complete control over what the permit should read. You may add information such as school/institute name, permit validity duration, city/department, permit text, and any additional instruction, guidance, or information. Text such as permit display instructions, lost or stolen guidance, etc., can be added for printing at the back of the permit.

Q. Is there a way to prevent custom student/faculty parking permits from being compromised?

A.

Yes, there is. Adding a hologram is one of the most efficient ways to prevent counterfeiting parking permits. Holograms show a checkerboard pattern if someone tries to misuse them. We offer a SecuraPass security feature that allows you to add a hologram to your custom permits. This video provides more information on how SecuraPass parking permits work.

Q. Do I get a discount if I order custom student/faculty parking permits in bulk?

Of course, you do. We offer quantity-based discounts on all our custom student/faculty parking permits, and the greater the order quantity, the higher the discount. These discounts are visible on the material selection page during checkout.
